The Senate of Côte d’Ivoire proceeded to the opening of its 2021 Ordinary Session on April 13, 2021 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research in Yamoussoukro.
During this solemn ceremony, the President of the Senate, HEM Jeannot AHOUSSOU-KOUADIO expressed his gratitude and recognition for the support of the Nation during his period of absence due to illness. He also recalled the assessment of the institution for the ordinary session of 2020 and defined the prospects for the new parliamentary year.
HEM Jeannot AHOUSSOU-KOUADIO especially reiterated the firm will of the Senate of Côte d’Ivoire to contribute fully to the strengthening of democracy and social cohesion in our country.
