On October 18, 2016, the President of the Republic, HE Mr. Alassane Ouattara, presided over the signing ceremony of President Félix Houphouët-Boigny's "Speech and Messages" book at the Abidjan District Hotel. This ceremony was organized by the Fondation Félix Houphouët-Boigny for the Research of Peace (FHB Foundation), which coincided with the 111^th anniversary of the birth (October 18, 1905 - October 18, 2016) of Father of the Modern Côte d'Ivoire.
